Kunjal and Vineet met at a graduation party in 2012, before heading to college at the University of Florida (Go Gators). One evening at UF, they ran into each other outside of the library and decided to study together. Soon after, study dates turned into real dates where they would bake cookies and watch TV in Vineet’s dorm.
Fun Fact: Kunjal somehow convinced Vineet to go to GatoRaas tryouts with her Freshman year. Neither of them made the team, but they had a good laugh about it afterwards at the dining hall.

As fate would have it, Kunjal and Vineet soon realized that they both had the same lifelong dream of becoming physicians. It was fitting that their story started in the library, as thats where they would spend most of their time for the next 8+ years. After many late night study sessions, countless tests, and lots of coffee later, they finally made it to med school...in two separate states.
Fun Fact: Vineet didn't drink coffee when they first met. Now, he can't go a day without it.

Despite the challenges they faced starting medical school hundreds of miles apart, Kunjal and Vineet braved the distance, using every opportunity they could to visit each other and have FaceTime dates often. In their third year of medical school, they had the opportunity to do clinical rotations together in Alabama, which is a journey they will never forget.

During their fourth year of Medical School, Vineet surprised Kunjal while they were on a rotation in Orlando, at the Kraft Azaelea Garden. He told her that he just wanted to take a "quick stroll" before going to dinner. As they walked up to the lake, Kunjal quickly realized what was about to happen, and to no surprise the tears started flowing. It was an instant yes! Moments later, both of their families came out from hiding to join in on the celebration, and they spent the rest of their night celebrating their new chapter as fiancees!

The next stop was residency. After 12+ years of higher education, it was finally time for them to become physicians. They successfully couples matched at the same hospital and are now in Philadelphia living their dream. As they navigate their first year of residency while planning a wedding, they are so excited to celebrate their union in a place they both call home, and they look forward to a long, beautiful, happy life together.
